Position Overview

The Talent Success Manager will be responsible for designing and executing the strategies that attract, retain, and develop high-performing talent. This role acts as a bridge between recruitment and ongoing employee success, overseeing the entire transition from candidate to employee. By managing full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and driving continuous performance management, this role directly impacts employee retention and engagement. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this position will execute the HR strategy for the school.


Essential Primary Duties

Talent Acquisition (Recruitment)

  • Sourcing & Pipeline Building – creating strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates through job boards, networking, and social media.
  • Maintain position control and recruitment dashboard to track trends such as, time to fill, time to hire, ethnicity, internal movement, budget, and diversity.
  • Full-Cycle Interviewing – screening resumes, initial interviews, coordinate with hiring managers to ensure efficient evaluation process.
  • Demonstrate Talent Management thought leadership by using best practices such as monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of our talent management solutions.

Employee Integration (Onboarding)

  • Strategic Onboarding – manage an onboarding program that goes beyond basic paperwork to fully immerse new hires into Gulliver’s culture.
  • 30-60-90 – plans and ensures new employees have the right resources and training needed to succeed quickly.
  • Coordinates the pre-employment screening process and appointments for full-time and part-time administrative, faculty and staff employees. Screening includes; ADP background check, on-site fingerprinting, initiating drug-screen, and enrollment into school training platforms. Follow-up on all items to confirm clearance for hire.
  • Immigration & Visa Sponsorship - manage the operational side of employee visas (H-1B1, J1, and Green Cards), tracking renewal deadlines and partnering with immigration attorneys.

Talent Developments (Performance Management)

  • Goal Setting – work with the Chief People Officer to design, launch, and manage the logistics of performance review cycles.
  • Learning & Development Programs – foster a culture of continuous growth, improve operational efficiency, and ensure campus-wide compliance.
  • Internship Program - develop an engaging internship program. Lead the process to determine needs and placement with a focus on building strong internal and external partnerships with higher education organizations that provide teacher interns.
  • Owns the Annual Service Awards Process (Years of Service and Retirees). Analyzes the years of service report to ensure employees receive the proper pin year and bonus amount. Submits requests for payment of bonus for June paycheck and follows through for accuracy and approval.

Compliance & Documentation (Offboarding)

  • Processing Terminations – formally document the separation process through exit interviews to gather candid feedback on Gulliver’s culture, management, tools and reasons for leaving. Maintains exit interview database and is responsible to identify trends and provides input for improvement and/or changes if necessary to policies and procedures.
  • Ensures termination status across all databases including benefit vendors is updated accordingly.
  • Final Pay & Benefits – coordinate with payroll to ensure the accurate and timely payout and final wages, accrued leave accruals, and benefit information.
  • IT Asset Return & Access Revocation – coordinate with IT for the deactivation of company email, HR systems, and manage the collection of company property, including laptops, badges, corporate credit cards, and keys.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in the human resource field; Educational setting is a plus!
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is highly preferred.
  • Certifications in HR helpful (SPHR, GPHR).
  • Experience with ADP HRIS system is a plus.

Criminal Background Check, Level II Fingerprint Screening(s), and Drug screen.
