Position Overview
Gulliver Preparatory School has several openings for Maintenance Staff to join our team of professionals. The Maintenance Staff are part of the Facilities team and are responsible for general repairs, event setup and take down, and will involve troubleshooting issues. The qualified candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks and strive to ensure the highest standard of quality.
Candidates with advanced skills with large HVAC equipment is a plus!
Key responsibilities are as follows:
- Responsible for setup and teardown of events in collaboration with facility work orders.
- Responsible for repairs including but not limited to; lighting, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Assist with on-demand requests from faculty & staff.
- Understanding tasks and determining proper materials and equipment needed for repairs and/or replacement.
- Other duties as assigned by the Physical Plant Supervisor, PK-12.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED Certificate or equivalent.
- Five (5) years of on the job-related experience and/or a combination of education, training and work experience within the field.
- Must be able to speak and write in English.
Pre-Employment Requirements
Criminal Background Check, Level II Fingerprint Screening(s), and Drug screen.
