Position Overview
Gulliver Prep’s Summer Program is seeking to hire Summer Camp Counselors for the upcoming 2026 Summer Camp! Qualified candidates should be energetic, self-motivated, responsible, fun and dedicated individuals who love working with children ages 3-10.
Job Responsibilities
The Summer Camp Counselor’s key responsibilities are as follows:
- Give 100% dedication to the 4-week program.
- Responsible for the supervision of a group of similarly aged children and will spend the majority of the day with those campers.
- Follow the program schedule and think quickly to make decision for their campers.
- Participate in all water/pool activities.
- Other duties assigned by the Director of Auxiliary Programs.
Gulliver Prep Summer Camp will be Monday through Friday starting June 1, 2026 – June 26, 2026. Counselor positions will need to be available every day for the full 4-week program. Our campus will be closed on June 19. Work hours are from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. every day. Must be able to attend Orientation Days (May 27, May 28, May 29).
Qualifications & Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Experience working with children is highly preferred!
Pre-Employment Requirements
Criminal Background Check, Level II Fingerprint Screening(s), and Drug screen.
