Job Summary

The Primary School at Gulliver Prep is seeking passionate and dedicated educators for a variety of positions, including a Science & Spanish teacher. The ideal candidate is a fluent Spanish speaker who can deliver an enriching science program to young children through hands-on learning experiences. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of the developmental standards and experiences that will promote critical thinking and scientific problem solving, as well as strategies to promote and engage heritage and non-heritage Spanish speakers. Experience integrating technology into lessons and Responsive Classroom is preferred. Collaboration within the department and with colleagues across the school is expected, as is a demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion and professional development.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in education or related field.  Master’s degree preferred. 

  • At least two years of teaching experience at the elementary school level. 

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Effective classroom management skills. 

  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
