Job Summary

The Primary & Lower School at Gulliver Prep is seeking to hire multiple full-time Floating Faculty for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. A Floating Faculty is a teacher who leads a classroom of students and continues the curriculum and learning when colleagues are absent from school for a day or over multiple days. The ideal candidate has an excellent understanding of the social-emotional development of primary and lower school children, ages 3-10, and knowledge of standards across subject areas. Preference is given to candidates who have experience with Responsive Classroom, Science of Reading, Bridges and Reveal Math and teaching in a 1:1 technology environment. Candidates should possess flexibility, positivity, a can-do attitude and growth mindset, strong communication skills, and be highly collaborative. A demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion and professional development is expected.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Elementary or Elementary Education. 

• At least two years of teaching experience at the elementary level. 

Desired Qualifications

• Effective classroom management skills. 

• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
