Job Summary

The Lower School at Gulliver Prep is seeking passionate and dedicated educators for a variety of positions, including Spanish Faculty. The ideal candidate will be a fluent Spanish speaker who brings the desire for language and culture to life in the classroom. Knowledge and use of varied approaches to actively engage learners to use Spanish is essential in order to establish a rich learning experience for both heritage and non-heritage speakers. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of the standards and ways to integrate technology into lessons, and experience with Responsive Classroom is preferred. Collaboration within the department and with colleagues across the school is expected, as is a demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion and professional development.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in education or related field.  Master’s degree preferred. . 

  • At least two years of teaching experience at the elementary level

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Effective classroom management skills. 

  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students. 

Pre-Employment Requirements

Criminal Background Check, Level II Fingerprint Screening(s) and Drug Screen.
