Job Summary

Gulliver Prep’s Middle School Campus is seeking to hire a dynamic Physical Education faculty to join our team of professionals for the upcoming 2024-25 school year.  The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Physical Education Standards and who care deeply about developing athletic skills and inspiring an active lifestyle in our students. The Physical Education curriculum implements the national SHAPE standards.  Classes are conducted in one of our several outdoor fields or in our newly constructed indoor gymnasium. We are looking for someone who collaborates easily with colleagues, upholds departmental policies, and conducts their self with the utmost professionalism.  Familiarity with International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme requirements is also a plus.  Physical Education faculty are expected to be available to coach one season of a sport for an additional stipend.   

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education, Education or related field.
  • Three years teaching or coaching experience, preferably with middle school aged students. 

Pre-Employment Requirements

Criminal Background Check, Level II Fingerprint Screening(s), and Drug screen.
