Job Summary

Gulliver Prep is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable individual to join our athletic department as the Girls’ Varsity Golf Coach. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the game of golf, and a commitment to developing student-athletes.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Organize and conduct team practices with a focus on skill development.
  • Inspire and motivate student-athletes to excel in golf while emphasizing sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth.
  • Schedule and coordinate matches, tournaments, and practices in collaboration with the athletic department.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that values integrity, respect, and commitment.
  • Communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, school administration, and the broader school community.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Previous coaching experience, preferably at the high school or collegiate level.
  • Strong background in golf instruction and rules.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor and develop student-athletes.
  • Commitment to upholding the values and mission of Gulliver Prep.
  • Availability to attend practices, matches, and tournaments during after-school hours and some weekends.

Pre-Employment Requirements

Criminal Background Check, Level II Fingerprint Screening(s), and Drug screen.
