Gulliver Preparatory School’s Marian C. Krutulis PK-8 Campus is seeking to hire a Middle School Mathematics Faculty to complete the 2020-2021 school year. The course assignments will include two fifth grade math courses and three pre-algebra courses composed mainly of sixth and seventh graders. Qualified applicants should have a good command of number operations and algebraic thinking and should be able to effectively communicate these processes to middle school students. Gulliver Prep is interested in teachers who utilize 21st century pedagogy to engage and excite students about math and be skilled with technology. Candidates must collaborate easily with colleagues and be a team player. In addition, candidates should have experience as a student advisor and are comfortable teaching social and emotional learning curriculum. Gulliver Prep is currently holding a hybrid of in-person and remote school which includes a full protocol to ensure the safety of its students and faculty.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Minimum of three (3) years teaching experience in math, preferable at the middle school level.
- Experience teaching at an independent school
- Master’s Degree or State Certification is a plus!
